This 25 minute documentary is about Dick Van Dykes returning to his home-town of Danville, Illinois, and has been made available to view free on YouTube. 

Nearly three days were spent filming this production while visiting his childhood home, downtown Main Street, as well as at his High School. See our beautiful Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang car as we drive both Dick Van Dyke and his wife Arlene around town, as we meet and greet the residents and children of Danville!

This is a must view for any Dick Van Dyke or Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang fan.

On Saturday, Sept. 7, the 98-year-old's birthday special, Dick Van Dyke 98 Years of Magic, took home the win for outstanding variety special (pre-recorded). The two-hour tribute CBS special, which featured archival footage and live performances of songs from Van Dyke’s storied career, aired in December.

Our Chitty Car will be there, and on camera for this celebration of Dick Van Dyke's 98th birthday and Lifetime Salute to CBS!  Chitty has recently left for shipping to CBS television studios, which starts filming just after Thanksgiving.
